Liz Ruddy was born in Potsdam, New York   during a -45 degree blizzard. The flowers in her hospital room window turned to slime, and Kings froze in their castles same as the shepherds in their huts. In 2015, she received a B.A. in Writing for Film and Television from Emerson College.

After a brief stint in the door-to-door solar-selling business, Liz started work as an Office P.A. at Magical Elves, an unscripted production company in Hollywood. She additionally continues to freelance with her former employer, Weed Road Pictures, where she works closely with the President of Production to create original artwork for major studio pitches.

She also occasionally freelances for Upworthy, who published her first viral piece, "An Open Letter to the Guy at Work." The  post
garnered over a million views and tens of thousands of shares.

Liz is still looking for an agent and a cat. If you have a tip on either, please feel free to reach out.
